The most popular massage in the west (and in our center); traditional Swedish massage, also known as the "classical massage," consists mainly of long strokes over oiled skin and kneading of the outer layers of muscle tissue to reduce stress and soothe sore joints and muscles. Swedish massage relaxes the nervous system, aids circulation, and helps with detoxification.
A fusion of massage modalities that incorporates techniques from eastern and western modalities. A variety of techniques are used to restore correct anatomical musculoskeletal relationships, neuromuscular patterns, and to increase the circulation of blood in order to facilitate healing and prevent further injury.
Sports massage therapy is a type of massage that is focused and systematic, includes passive and active stretching, with the purpose of targeting muscles that are used in sports.
