Dr. Melissa Rosado is a Board-Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician. She attended medical school in SUNY Downstate and completed her PMR residency in Icahn School of Medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital, two prestigious schools in New York City.
For 8 years, Dr. Rosado worked as Medical Director and Head Physician at Maxwell Medical, an elite multi-modality medical practice in NYC. Her specialty is Sports Medicine and is an advocate of root cause analysis of musculoskeletal pain. She strives to identify not just pain sources, but the factors that could continue to exacerbate the pain such as posture, repetitive patterns and imbalanced muscle chains.
Dr Rosado is a key member of the NaviHealth Utilization Management System under United Health Group works and is now teaming up with Dr. Salazar to continue doing the job she loves.
